Congratulations to Qualla's Employee of the Month, Edwin "Sam" Crowe!

Sam Crowe is from the Big Y community and is a proud EBCI member. He is excited for the opportunity to work for a tribal entity like Qualla. In his spare time, Sam offers minor plumbing and handyman services and enjoys working on cars as a hobby mechanic. Sam joined the team at Qualla because of his personal interest in the cannabis industry, and he hopes to one day move up into a supervisory role (or higher) with us. He loves the atmosphere at Qualla and enjoys coming into work every day, but he said that his coworkers are the best part of working here. He enjoys the company of the people he works with and the sense of community they all cultivate here, and we're thrilled to have him as part of the team as well!

Sam is always the first to volunteer a helping hand when needed. He's a great team player and he showcases excellent leadership skills. Dinilawigi (Tribal Council) approved Ord. No. 112 (2026) during its regular session on Thursday, March 5 which amends Cherokee Code Chapter 117 “to provide for the distribution of certain revenues from Qualla Enterprises, LLC to the Tribe and tribal members”.
