❤️Love is in the air❤️

Breeding season is under way and 2 out of 3 ladies have gone into standing heat! If they both take we are looking at some end of February Kids!

⭐️Yesterday this match up happened! Petunia is our lively lady that had precocious udder this summer and provided us with all the goat milk in our products! Zader a lovely boy with a calm personality but a big heart!

💙Second Eden Farm RVR Zader

⭐️This morning our second doe with into standing heat and got paired up with Zader! Poppy is a crafty girl that likes to cause all the trouble on the farm! She also had precocious udder this summer but never produced much.

🔥Kids from both ladies will be unregistered nigerian dwarf goats.

🔥Ladies on the farm tested negative Johne’s, CAE/OPPV, and CL. The boys will be tested next month when they are old enough.

🔥Drowze has decided to take a rain check this breeding season I guess and haze zero interest in the ladies🔥

We had a surprise on the farms this afternoon! One of our spring hens went off and decided to hatch out 14 chick without us noticing she was gone!

Momma hen and chicks have been moved into a safe space to get out the rain and have some protection from the local cats.

On other new: We sold off 25 laying hens because we have a few to many chickens 🫣 then did a hen count and still had more hens than I thought 😅 so what’s another more 14 random chicks that decided to join the farm!
