Cochran's Bees and Berries started with two hives in the spring of 2013. After our trial run with the first two hives, we expanded to 11 hives and were successful in honey. With the success of our honey, we then decided to add to the operation by planting a 3 acre strawberry patch for the purpose of you-pick strawberries. For now we plan to sell honey and strawberries at the stand with the hope of offering other bee related products in the future.
