Thank you to everyone who has been patient and given me time to take care of myself, family and horses. This has been by far the most difficult and most emotional decision I’ve ever made. This had to be 100% my decision alone with no outside influences. This has been my home since I was 12 years old and REC my business since 2006. it’s all I’ve known.. It’s now time for someone else to enjoy this amazing property and all it has to offer. It’s truly breathtaking.
A quick update on all the horses that everyone seems to be concerned about. They are doing amazing. They absolutely love their new home. I am truly in awe of everyone of them. They showed how much they trust me and were with me on this decision and journey. they all walked on the trailer, didn’t blink an eye, trailered great, and settled in effortlessly.
I know so many of you are quite upset that one particular horse moved. I’m glad he brought so many smiles to a lot of people’s faces, but it kind of breaks my heart that he’s the only one that caught so much attention when every horse of mine are so special in their own individual ways and have their own stories to tell. Sadly flashy/different is way more appealing to the human eye.
I have not fully decided on what I’m gonna do with this page. I’ve have a couple different thoughts of keeping it and telling each horses story with updates so they are still part of your lives, but with us having the privacy we deserve. I truly believe horses have their own way of healing and providing us joy but with each and every one of these guys, I’ve been that for them their healer, supporter and voice.. so they will always come first.
