📦 We’re Hiring: Shipping Department Team Member
📍 Taylor Freezer Sales of Chesapeake
We’re looking for a dependable, organized team member to join our shipping department! This position helps keep our parts and service departments running smoothly by ensuring orders are accurate and our technicians have the parts they need.
Responsibilities include:
• Picking, packing, and shipping parts and equipment
• Receiving deliveries and checking incoming shipments for accuracy
• Assisting with technician truck inventory and replenishing stock
• Processing parts returned by technicians
• Preparing parts for technicians’ upcoming service calls and return visits
• Using a computer to process shipments and maintain records
• Keeping inventory and work areas organized
What we’re looking for:
• Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn our systems
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Dependability, teamwork, and a focus on safety
• Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the position, including moving and handling heavy parts such as compressors and motors
• Shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience is a plus!
