Happy 32nd birthday to one of our favorite long time resident seniors (and Rabbit's BFF!). Here's to another trip around the sun with this sweet boy!

Rabbit's thoughts on being the White Rabbit at the ASC show today ❤️ he says he is never nervous, hurried, or worried he might be late...unless its for dinner 🤣🤣🤣

Max rocked it as the headless horseman!

Happy 26th birthday to Rabbit, the best horse in the entire world! I cant imagine how many firsts he's been to so many people, first canters, first trot, first blue ribbon, first love, and the absolute best at introducing so many people throughout his life, young and old, to the love of horses and the feeling of being in the saddle.

Happy Birthday Rabbit!!! I'm sorry you had to work but looking at the forcast you'll have plenty of days off to make up for it...plus you did get peppermints from everyone ❤️❤️❤️

Side note, that is the original stork announcement from when he was born!

Happy 24th birthday to Diago!!! Our smallest in stature resident (size wise, certainly not personality!). Here's to many more years of him internally eye rolling at his besties antics and Gator escorting him everywhere ❤️❤️❤️

Happy happy 23rd birthday to the best (and probably most loved) lesson horse in the world. Happy birthday Rabbit and all the extra carrots in the world!!!

God bless all of our amazing school horses, both those that are have passed and those that are still here teaching our riders those essential life lessons both in and out of the barn, and have turned our riders into the amazing equestrians, teens and young adults they are today. I am so thankful to be blessed with so many saintly horses and ponies that continue to introduce the joys and life lessons of horseback riding to our next generation of riders ❤❤❤

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Don’t forget the school horse that made you.
The patient soul that tolerated your bouncing while you figured out how to sit the trot.
The kind mare that didn’t walk off when you fumbled with the bridle.
The sweet gelding that picked up the correct canter lead even though your body was telling him to do the exact opposite.
The saintly angel that never spooked, which is a good thing because your balance was precarious at best because you only rode once a week.
Too often we forget where we came from. We move on to the next chapter in our lives and say, “Oh my gosh, I’m learning so much! I’m going so far! I could never do this kind of riding on that old school horse!”
But that school horse gave you the confidence to move forward. That school horse took care of you and allowed you to take the time you needed to find your way. You couldn’t have become the rider you are today without that old, dumpy school horse.
Our awesome teens (and their slightly less enthused mounts) at the 4H District horse show! Love these girls and how enthusiastic they are both on and off their horses and their willingness to help our younger riders!
