I wanted to take a moment to share an update with you all from the heart.
At this time, I am on a self-imposed break from custom cookie orders as I focus on my health and, most importantly, my family. This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s one that I know is necessary right now.
While I won’t be taking custom orders, Sheila’s Sugar isn’t gone. I may still offer cookies for select holidays through pre-sales or occasional porch pop-ups, when my health and schedule allow. I’ll always share those opportunities here first.
Decorating cookies has truly been a labor of love for me. What started as a small creative outlet grew into something so much bigger, and that’s because of you. I am incredibly grateful to be part of the Chesapeake community and beyond. Many of you have supported me from the very beginning—over ten years ago—and have watched me grow, learn, and find my style as a professional cookie decorator. Your encouragement, loyalty, and kindness have meant more to me than I can ever properly express.
Please know that I miss creating, I miss connecting, and I sincerely hope that this is just a pause and not a goodbye. My heart is still very much in cookies, and I hope to return more fully when the time is right.
Thank you for your understanding, your continued support, and for allowing me the grace to take care of myself and my family. I appreciate each and every one of you more than you know. 💕
