It’s been a while! We had some decisions to make about the future of the farm while our home was placed, but we are back!

We have THIRTY 😅 new laying hens in the brooder ready to keep up with our egg demand! 🥚

In the garden I’ve been tending our fruit trees and plants and hope to share the bounty with you all. 🍎🍉🍈🍒🫐

In the fields Collin has sheep! Meat lambs to be ready in the fall, but our sweet bottle babies will stick around for our own breeding 🐑

As always fresh lard products available made to order! We’re very excited to enter this new season!

Hands down the most rewarding farming experience is new life. I stayed with her for 36 hours because I was definitely more anxious than she was!

Farrowing was not in our plans for this year, but Mama showed us a week before her freezer date that she’d be sticking around 😅

Despite freezing temps these little ones are 1 week old and thriving!
