Over the Oxer Equestrian “There are only two emotions that belong in the saddle, patience and a sense of humor.” Lessons are available on our school horses or your own horse.

Whether you are a serious competitor looking to contend at “A” level shows, or you want to learn basic horsemanship, Deanna Kravetz has a program suited for you. Her lesson program is dedicated to providing a safe, positive, and fun learning environment, enabling students to gain confidence while developing their fundamentals of riding. Deanna believes that horsemanship begins on the ground, first teaching students how to properly care for the horse, not solely how to ride them. Our lesson horses /ponies are safe, well-schooled and dependable and will accommodate riders of all ages and levels. Lesson horses are available for half or full lease, and practice rides in addition to students regular lessons. Lesson horses are also available for leasing at horse shows. Deanna is ready and willing to help you meet any training goal, from teaching your horse basic ground manners, to breaking them under saddle, to polishing your hunter/jumper and competing them at the top of their game. She approaches each horse and rider as a unique partnership seeking to meet each combination’s individual needs and goals. Ship-ins are always welcome!!! ALL LEVELS AND ALL AGES ARE WELCOME!!!

⚾️ Curveball (aka Wrigley)

Wrigley is a 16.1 hand 12 yr old TB gelding with a winning personality. He is both USEF & USHJA lifetime registered. Wrigley has a previous USEF show record and for the past year, he has been on a shared lease with two of our teenager riders, showing on our local show circuit in the modified children’s hunters and equitation as well as at GMHA and NHHJA Summerfest at Fieldstone Show Park. He requires minimal prep and LOVES to Horseshow. He’s always in the top ribbons in the under saddle and brought home countless champion ribbons with his teenagers this past year. Wrigley is a proven safe, sweet, saintly and confidence builder type that always goes, is auto everything, and has been a shining star.

🦄 Located at Over the Oxer Equestrian at Senator Bell Farm in Chester, NH. Available to be tried at NHHJA Finals at Tricounty Fairgrounds in Northampton, MA 9/17-9/20.

We are proud to celebrate our student Finnley, who recently attended the Tufts University Adventures in Veterinary Medicine camp at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Finley’s passion for horses continues far beyond the saddle, and we are so excited to watch her explore the ways to care for the animals that she loves!

I can’t thank James Morris enough for sharing his expertise, his detail oriented exercises, his positivity (AND for convincing Parker to switch from the medium pony to the 17.2 hand warmblood) 🥰
