Prepare yourself for a life-altering experience... Olive Oil infused whipped cream. It could not be easier to make and it adds a little something special to your desserts.
Basil Olive Oil Infused Whipped Cream
Ingredients
2 cups heavy cream
2 tbsp powdered sugar
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil. We recommend our Basil (Lemon or Lime)
Trust us, you will want to eat the entire bowl!
Directions
1. Mix the heavy cream with a whisk attachment using a hand-held mixer or a stand mixer in a medium bowl.
2. Whisk at a medium to high speed while adding 1 tbsp of powdered sugar at a time.
3. Continue whipping until the whipped cream starts to thicken, but has not started to peak.
4. Slowly add in the olive oil to the whipped cream mixture while mixing at a low speed.
5. Stop mixing when the whipped cream begins to make noticeable shapes (like waves) or peaks, but has not solidified into a butter-like consistency.
