Tomorrow is our second and last $5 Friday Admission for Spookfest. We are open 10 am to 1 pm. Enjoy all of our Spookfest offerings included in admission for only $5 (2 and under are FREE). Unlimited hayrides through our spooky forest tunnel ( all decor is family friendly) barrel wagon train rides, corn pit, petting pasture, craft barn and lots of up-close interaction with our animals!

Please note horse rides and our unicorn are only offered and here on SATURDAY Spookfest 10 am to 2pm!

All money received goes directly to the feed and care of the animals at our sanctuary so please come support us and spread the word!

What could be better than a cool autumn night under the stars and our huge gorgeous pavilion listening and dancing to the incredibly talented Buddy Lee ?!? Yeah, we can’t think of anything either so don’t miss this Saturday evening at Shoofly from 7 to 10pm!

Admission is $10 at the gate, 3 and under are FREE, this is a family friendly event and environment. You can bring your own cooler of drinks and food, bring your own chairs as our tables are first come first serve.

We are a small family-owned animal sanctuary in central Virginia active in animal rescue. We are also a venue for private events but our most popular offering is our weekly Farm Visits for our community. Come enjoy some farm life best life with us!

Come see us today from 10 to 2pm for Spookfest and 7 pm to 10 pm for our Neon Night Glow Party with DJ Kinfolf. Both events are $10 admission at the gate, we accept cash, card, tap to pay by phone, Venmo & CashApp. This is how we raise funds to feed the animals of our sanctuary so your attendance is needed and greatly appreciated.

We have the Richmond Mounted Police unit coming for a special appearance during our daytime event and our Unicorn will be out and ready to meet visitors as well!

Our evening event will still take place regardless of light rain in the forecast, the dance floor is covered, pop up tents are allowed as well as your own chairs, food and drink but we will have Smok2Go here for your southern BBQ cravings!

This Saturday night is our Neon Night Glow Party with DJ Kinfolk. 7 pm to 10 pm, gates open at 6:30. Bring your own chairs as seating is first come first serve. Smok2Go will be here along with Mrs Smiths Sweet Treats for your food needs or bring your own. You can also bring your own cooler of drinks, alcohol is permitted.

$10 at the gate admission, we take cash, card, tap to pay, Venmo and CashApp. All proceeds benefit the animals of our sanctuary.

We aren’t exaggerating when we say Mila, our Empress of All, is always where we work and naps on equipment every day! Fun fact about our sweet she was originally rescued by a local cat rescue and living with part of a feral cat community, hence her clipped left ear as part of TNR programs. As you can see there are many “diamonds in the rough” ready for adoption so please think adoption first and visit your local animal rescues and shelters and then give these adorable companions the loving forever home they need!

Our next 2 Saturday evening events are not ones to be missed! Evening Spookfest events are from 7pm to 10 pm and consist of the live entertainment you see here on our flyers. Please note there are no hayrides offered during evening events. Come support Shoofly this month, our goal is to raise enough money to purchase our winter supply of hay and feed for our animals. All proceeds from this event go directly to the animals of our sanctuary so please come out, enjoy the farm and spread the word!

ATTENTION: We have 2 special openings this month for Spookfest. Friday the 9th and next Friday the 16th ONLY enjoy Spookfest from 10 am to 1 pm, for $5 admission, 2 and under are FREE!

Included activities in your admission are unlimited mini-hayrides through our spooky forest tunnel, barrel train rides, petting pasture, corn pit, crafts in our barn & 1 small pumpkin per child. Please note there are no horse rides offered on these Fridays.

Spookfest is our annual fundraiser to get enough hay and feed to last our animals through the winter months ahead. There is a hay shortage this year so it’s never been more difficult & expensive to get hay, the time to stock pile is now and we need your help! As always all proceeds from our events go directly to the feed and care of the animals of our sanctuary, all staff is volunteer, no one is getting paid from your money spent here so let’s get these animals taken care of!
