This is what farming looks like. 🐾🌱

early mornings, muddy paws, sun naps between rows, and someone always “supervising” every task (very seriously, of course).

Farming is care, companionship, and a whole lot of love woven into the everyday.

Come see it for yourself 💚

Meet the team.
Different passions, shared purpose.

We bring our full selves to the land—our skills, our curiosities, and the things that light us up—and grow something stronger together because of it 🌾

Happy AAPI Heritage Month from our farm to yours. 🌱
We had the best time over at — swapping shirts, swapping dogs, and swapping seeds on the beautiful Black Dirt. Two farms, one shared belief: that growing food is an act of love, resistance, and community care.
This month (and every month), we celebrate the farmers, growers, and land stewards keeping Asian food traditions alive and rooted in the soil.
And if you want to bring a piece of that into your own garden — Choy Division’s plant sale has you covered. We’re talking g*i lan, bitter melon, Thai basil, shiso, bok choy, lemongrass, Korean gochu, and so much more. Seedlings grown with the same intention and care that goes into everything they do.
🌿 Check the link in ’s bio for plant sale details.

Caption: This is what solidarity looks like. Hundreds of neighbors standing shoulder to shoulder in the freezing cold, making one message clear: enough is enough.
When people come together across movements: farmworkers, racial justice advocates, faith leaders, organizers, and community members, we build the possibility of something more just than what exists today.
No one should have to live in fear of their family being torn apart. And we won’t let that happen to our friends, family, and neighbors here in Chester. And we’re not the only ones. We are seeing people showing up for one another: building networks of care, learning their rights, declaring their homes and businesses as safe spaces for our immigrant neighbors, and we are proud to be among them.
Hope lives in collective action. Hope lives in community. Hope lives in refusing to accept harm as inevitable. Don’t throw away your signs. Keep showing up. Keep learning. Keep caring for one another.

🌱 Learning from the land, together

On April 10, we gathered at People’s Land outside Ithaca, NY with Anu Rangarajan of the Cornell Small Farms Program, alongside Lorrie and Michaela of NuLegacy, for a hands-on workshop rooted in practical, sustainable farming.

From tarping to suppress weeds and reduce tillage, to getting our hands on a broadfork, participants explored real tools and techniques that support healthier soil and more productive crops.

These are the kinds of spaces where knowledge is shared, skills are built, and community grows 🌿

🌱 The labor that sustains our food system often goes unseen.
Representation isn’t a “nice to have.” It is infrastructure.

Across the U.S., many of the people growing our food — including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ farmers — navigate systems where the gatekeepers of capital, land, and opportunity are overwhelmingly cis, straight, and white. When decision-makers don’t share lived experience with the communities most impacted, bias becomes embedded in who gets funded, who gets approved, and who gets to stay.

Access isn’t just about land. It’s about safety. It’s about being able to farm in a rural community where your identity is not a liability. It’s about finding lenders, grantmakers, and institutions that see your leadership as an asset, not a risk.

A resilient food system requires more than diversity in the field; it requires equity in the ecosystem.

Swipe to hear directly from farmers navigating these barriers and building something better.

Plants make us happier too 🌱

If your algorithm already knows that plants = joy, consider this your sign to bring some home.

Our team will be at Finca del Sur Community Farm in the Bronx starting tomorrow with vibrant, farm-grown starts ready for your windowsill, backyard, fire escape, or community garden plot. Growing food (and flowers) is one of the simplest ways to feel more grounded, connected, and hopeful right now.

This could be you.

Stop by, ask questions, and leave with something that keeps growing long after the market ends.
