We pride ourselves on hand-crafting quality wines by concentrating on hybrid varieties that excel in Virginia’s extreme climate and withstand minimal spraying requirements. We also grow blackberries and produce small lots of fine Blackberry wines. We reside in beautiful rural Chesterfield County, Virginia wh

🩵🥚 IT FINALLY HAPPENED!!!

Look what Matt found yesterday when he went to collect eggs — our very first BLUE egg!

Some of you who have visited us this summer know how ridiculously excited I've been waiting for this. 😂 We added six Gray Lavender girls to the Spring Run flock back in February, along with our Gingers.

The Gingers apparently understood the assignment and have been laying like crazy for about a month and a half now. The Grays? Not so much. 😂

But FINALLY, one of our six girls decided it was time. Look at that beautiful blue egg! 🩵

Now we're waiting for the other five to get the memo. 🐔😂

We’re taking the Labor Day weekend off, but don’t worry — we still have THREE Sip & Shop Saturdays left this season! 🍷🎶

Well… that may not have been exactly how we pictured our final Wine Down Wednesday of the season! 😂⛈️☀️

It was HOT, then a storm blew through — umbrellas went flying, a glass of wine met an unfortunate end, and even The Game Changers got a little wet! 😬 But the rain moved on, the sunshine came back out, the band kept playing, and y'all hung around or some even came out afterward. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us! It was especially nice seeing so many of our regulars and getting to say our “see you next season” goodbyes.

And a HUGE thank you to The Game Changers for being such good sports and giving us a great evening of music — including a few Dolly tunes that I especially loved! 🎶💕

We also ended the night with some wonderful news… Popcorn found a home! 🐓❤️

Elvin with Hibachi Mobile is an animal lover with a farm of his own and was happy to welcome Popcorn. And talk about meant to be — most of his hens are Lavender Ameraucanas, just like Popcorn! He’s already settling in nicely with his new flock. 🥰

And YES, before anybody connects the dots between Hibachi Mobile + rooster… 😂 Elvin has assured me that Popcorn will NOT be ending up on the hibachi grill or in the stew pot! 🤣🐓 He’s officially a member of the farm family.

Thank you, Elvin, and thank you to everyone who shared our post and tried to help find Popcorn a good home!

And we’re not finished quite yet! We’re CLOSED this Saturday, but have three more Sip & Shop Saturdays: September 12, 19 & 26 from 9–2, with live music from 12–2. 🍷🎶

Thank you for another season of Wine Down Wednesdays. Through the sunshine, heat, rain — and apparently the occasional flying umbrella — y’all sure do make it fun. 😃

🍷🎶 ONE LAST WINE DOWN WEDNESDAY! 🎶🍷

Tomorrow night we’re wrapping up our Wine Down Wednesday season, and we’d love to have y’all join us for one last Wednesday evening at the vineyard! ❤️

Yes, it’s going to be HOT. ☀️
Yes, we’re serving Apple Pie Sangria anyway. 🍎🍷
And yes, we’re calling that the best of both seasons. 😂

🎸 The Game Changers take the stage at 5 PM — and if you’ve heard them before, you know they know how to rock it!

🌸🦋 Little moments from the flower garden…

Happy Monday y'all! As we head into the final stretch of summer here at Spring Run, taking a quick look back at some of the simple, beautiful moments from the flower garden and surroundings this year.

Buckets full of zinnias, butterflies everywhere, our deer family and more color than we knew what to do with. Sometimes you just have to stop what you’re doing and appreciate the view!

And speaking of the final stretch… this Wednesday is our LAST Wind Down Wednesday of the season! 🍷🎶 We’ll share all the details tomorrow, but for now, make plans to come spend one more Wednesday evening with us at Spring Run.

🪼💎 What a fun night!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who came out for our Jeweled Jellyfish Craft & Sip the other night! We had such a great time, and I absolutely LOVE how everyone’s jellyfish turned out. 💕

One of my favorite parts is the Shrinky D**k body — the way it curls and ripples gives each jellyfish so much movement, like it’s actually floating through the water! And, of course, no two turned out exactly alike. 🪼✨

We even had a group head out and do a little U-pick zinnia picking. 🌸 A fun way to end the evening!

Thank y’all again for spending your evening crafting, sipping and laughing with us. ❤️
