🔥 11TH IN THE WORLD! 🔥

What an incredible weekend at the 2026 American Royal World Series of Barbecue!

First and foremost, congratulations to Smokey Bay’s BBQ on being crowned Grand Champion, and congratulations to Pop a Top Cookers on earning Reserve Grand Champion! 🏆

We also want to congratulate every single team that heard their name called. When you’re competing at the American Royal against 360 teams from across the country and around the world, getting a walk is something special.

🏆 11TH OVERALL IN THE WORLD!

The American Royal is the largest BBQ competition in the World and to finish 11th overall against some of the best BBQ teams on the planet is something our entire team is incredibly proud of.

But what we’re probably most proud of is how this team worked together all weekend.

Competition BBQ at this level is controlled chaos. There are countless things happening at once, four meat categories that all have to be ready at exactly the right time plus ancillaries and absolutely no room for mistakes. Everyone stepped up, everyone did their job, and we made every single turn-in together as a team.

No missed boxes. No excuses. Just teamwork.

We came to Kansas City wanting to see how The Burnt Crow stacked up against the best teams in the world.

We found out.

We can’t thank everyone enough who has supported us, encouraged us, followed our competition season, helped behind the scenes, and believed in what we’re building.

We’re coming home incredibly proud—and even hungrier for what’s next.

Even with the heat beating down on us, we still put together a solid cook! 🔥🥵 Here’s how we finished:
🐔 Chicken – 7th – Meat Apostles Secret Stuff
🍖 Ribs – 6th – Farmington Walmart Ribs
🐷 Pork – 8th
🥩 Brisket – 1st Place! 🏆
All of that added up to 3rd Place Overall! 🏆 Proud of this team for grinding through the heat, staying focused, and bringing home another solid finish.
Big congratulations to High on the Hog on Grand Champion and Awesome Racks on Reserve Grand Champion. Well deserved! 👏
And congratulations to everyone who got their name called today! That’s what this crazy BBQ journey is all about. 🔥

What a day! The Burnt Crow Flew into Hoffman, IL for the Hoffman Fire department 2nd Annual BBQ Competition. We felt we had a solid cook & the judges agreed.

Big congratulations to Eleven 13 on Grand Champion and High on the Hog on Reserve Grand Champion.

Here's how we finished:
🍗 Chicken — 1st - Meat Apostles secret stuff
🍖 Ribs — 8th- Korte Meats / Jay hand selects
🐷 Pork — 9th
🥩 Brisket — 5th
🏆 Overall — 3rd

Congratulations to everyone who got their name called today, and thanks to Hoffman Fire for putting on a great contest.

On to Farmington next weekend as a final warm up for the American Royal!
