Tag Along Alpacas, LLC Tag Along Alpacas is a family farm. www.tagalongalpacas.com If you would like to schedule a farm visit, please email [email protected].

We offer visits on Saturday afternoons only. Masks are not required and we do not wear masks. Tag Along Alpacas, LLC is a family farm. In August of 2012, after generations of dairy farming and custom tilling, we decided to fulfill a dream of raising alpacas. In August our first four alpacas arrived and every day with them has been a blessing. They are extremely addictive! We raise Huacay Alpacas (pronounced whah-kai-ah) in a variety of colors. Tag Along Alpacas, LLC is owned by mother/daughter duo Connie Gsell and Tracy Abram with constant help and support from their husbands, David Gsell and Michael Abram. The farm is over 282 acres of productive farmland, pastures, pond, and woodland, producing corn, soybeans, wheat, barley, hay, straw and more. In addition to the alpacas, there are beef cattle. We offer a wide variety of alpaca products and are open by appointment on Saturday afternoons by emailing [email protected]. www.tagalongalpacas.com.

We will be at the Chestertown Farmers Market Saturday from 8am to noon! Our tent is in front of SugarDoodles, beside The Sooty Dog, and across from Running W Farm and Lockbriar Farm. We plan to be there every Saturday through March - unless it's raining. We have lots of new, luxurious, warm, alpaca items. Many items will be one and done, so if you see something you love, don't wait to get it. Lots of socks, hats, glove, mittens, glittens, scarves, wraps, ruanas, and so much more. These ruanas are reversible!

Today is my girl Nikki's birthday. She is 18 today - the oldest of our alpacas. She has come such a long way over the last 14 years and is now the easiest on herd health day. I don't even have to put a halter on her, she will just walk in the chute and when we are done she goes to the gate for me to let her out. She has taught me a lot of patience and through trial and error we have developed ways to do things that make her feel more comfortable and safe. She is proof that love and patience can soften the hardest heart. She was one of our first four alpacas and I am so thankful for her. She has given us three very sweet, gorgeous boys over the years. Happy Birthday Nikki!
