Kowalski Angus Farm A small family farm in Chetek, Wisconsin. Offering reasonably priced, locally grown, grass-fed Angus beef to Wisconsin, Northern Illinois and Eastern Minnesota.

We are a small family farm approximately 10 miles East of Chetek, Wisconsin. We are near Potato Lake, and the intersection of County Highways D and F. This farm has been in our family for over 40 years, and was converted from dairy to beef in 2003. We have about 50 cattle, with cows, yearlings and calves. We raise a mix of Red Angus, Black Angus. We are currently focusing on improving the genetics

every year with high end bulls. Our cattle are pasture-raised, with plenty of room to roam, and are fed grass and hay. This results in a tastier, healthier beef product – in fact, in 2008, our beef was tested by the University of Wisconsin for fat content, and our samples were between 88% and 92% lean. Our animals receive no hormones or routine antibiotics. If an animal needs to receive antibiotics because of an illness or injury, it is removed from our program.

Over 95% of cattle spend time on feed lots at some point. Wisconsin Meadows and Kowalski Angus are part of the 5%.

It's Earth Day! Call us crazy, but we think 100% grassfed beef CAN help save the planet! We’re not crazy and neither are you, because you probably already know some of the benefits of 100% grassfed meat. Even though we supply Wisconsin Meadows we also have a supply of our own. We are stocked for summer! Steaks, burgers, and so much more.

When you buy from us you are buying cattle that has been born and raised on our farm only! Also, about 95% of cattle are finished on cattle feedlots. We are part of the 5%.

Can your local farmer say the same? I hope so.
