We love a fresh hop beer, and when you turn the release of a new fresh hop into a party?! We’re in.

October 11th at Quartzite we’re gonna have a new fresh hop on tap, a pig roasting outside (shout out the grill-master at Windermere Countryside !), live music, Halloween movies for kids, a bonfire hosted by the legendary Scott Arthur Shumake Jr. , and 49 Degrees North season pass pick up!

Couple of new looks at Quartzite!

Just this week we opened up the wall so you can see beer makin’ happen. Brewing takes precision and real hard work, and it’s…well, kinda beautiful. We’re excited to share it.

We got new stickers (and more good things on the way)! Quick shout out to this little buffalo sticker: there are so many things to love about this place, but when buffalo calves were born in 2025 on the Colville reservation for the first time in a century, it was a real moment. We hollered and cheered 🦬. And we proudly tell everybody about it.

Smoke is in the air, and so is worry ❤️. If something good and easy is what you need, we got a fresh kolsch on tap, so many great people behind the bar giving out free jokes, and, starting this week through the end of August, Kim’s Kitchen set up from 5 to close on Fridays! The legendary Lola’s Good Eats will also be open for lunch and dinner til 6:30, which means when you pull up to Quartzite on a Friday there is killer local beer and bevys PLUS you can hit up Lola’s for banh mi sandwiches, pub pretzels + beer cheese, locally grown roast beef sandwiches, and more OR Kim’s Kitchen for korean fried chicken (it’s so good), shrimp lo mein, beef teriyaki bowls, and more delish.

Chewelah’s Friday night food scene is looking good.

We’re thinking of all the families, grandparents, animals, homes, and people with health issues right now . It can be hard to know how to show up for each other, especially for people in the deepest parts of the fire like the Colville Reservation—we’re feeling it too. But we know now’s the time.

In case you can contribute or want to guide others, we’ve come to really value the River Warrior Society across the years, they are a nonprofit on the ground providing hotel rooms, gas cards, food, and essential supplies, led by Faith M Zacherle Tonasket . The Cedar Fund, led by the Colville Confederated Tribes, is also at the heart wildfire relief efforts, donation link is in our bio. There are many others on the ground contributing direct relief, feel free to share more places to give or message us.

It’s small, but we’ll start collecting cash at the brewery too and add it to the pot for people who are organizing relief.

This Sunday, July 12th! Stellar local food trucks will be posting up in the Quartzite parking lot from 4-7 (pizza, sandwiches, fresh lemonade, homemade desserts, Asian specialities!) and American History Trivia will start at 5. Trivia is free to sign up (max 5 people per team), each participant will get $5 to spend on a food truck!

The first Quartzite Mug Club gathering brought out the best kind of people!

Our friend the great sang as the sun lit up Quartzite Mountain. We tapped a brand new Slow River Session Hazy IPA that tastes like a classic IPA through and through but it’s just 3.4% alcohol (yeah, you’re reading it right)— it’s just right for long day on a slow river.

Introducing the Balsamroot Blonde! This is a real good beer. There’s something about it. It’s clean and balanced — it’s held on to the simple flavor of its grains. It feels like spring rain in the Colville forest and a warm summer day on the Quartzite patio. It’s good friends.
