Get your name on the waiting list for breeding stock early! Lambing season has just started for us, get your name and contact on the wait list now to reserve a lamb. We have a premium selection of 100% Katahdin Hair Sheep breeding stock lambs: intact ram lambs ($250-300), and ewe lambs ($250). Our program focuses on the flavor and quality of the meat, high milk production, high successful birthing rates, and proper shedding.

Why Katahdins? They are easy to keep because they are very resistant to parasites, they are polled, and they shed their hair (so do not need to be shorn). Katahdin sheep are also a desirable meat breed. Their meat is sweet and mildā€”it lacks much of the strong sheepy taste that people associate with lamb. Our small flock is very healthy, no vaxx, no spray, and grass fed.

If you are interested in reserving a lamb, send us your name and a good way to contact you. When the lambs are ready to go (they should be ready sometime in June), we will give you a shout. Also, a quick heads up: Once we notify you that your lamb is ready for pick up, the maximum amount of time we will hold your lamb is two weeks.

Obviously we butcher our own sheep... But really, every part of our lambs are so good, it doesn't matter much if we know all the fancy names =)
