We also found 3 young kittens (eyes open and walking) maybe 4 ish weeks in with our momma dog this morning trying to nurse.

Well, we made fudge...
Bless my husband's heart he moved the containers.. now we cant tell the difference between the reeces and milk chocolate ones...
Oh yea- then the kids found my spray glitter and had fun... so he will be taking them to work to give away.. we shall try again this coming week...

If you have been wondering why there have been less posts lately, let me give a recap of the last few weeks:

A few weeks ago, someone told us about a supermarket/meat cutting facility that went out of business and was going on auction. - IN WINTER PARK, CO! About 3 hours away. After hours of research, auction day came and while I milked, Dakota (our oldest daughter) bid. The whole auction took about 4 hours- and each bid prolonged the bidding on that item for a minute.. What a stressful night.
Whooo - we won alot of what we wanted!!!

Then we had to go get it... 5 HUGE AND FULL trailers full of equipment. In 4 days...

Some awesome things we got:
*Meat display counter- so you can order your fresh never frozen meat cut the way you want!
*fridges and freezers
*meat cutting saw
*sausage stuffers
* meat cutting tables
*shelving
*Shopping baskets, short carts and (my personal favorite- ) we got 4 kid carts!!!)
* scales to weigh meat
*more shelving
*misc meat counter items
*a big walk in freezer
*and tons more!!!!

While you may not see alot of progress in the farmstand, we are tirelessly working on everything on this side- and all the appropriate channels to get the farmstand, butcher, and consession stand up and in one building while following each different departments rules and regulations...

Big things are coming!!!
