Last chance to get Tuckley Ranch pork for the season. We are sending in 6 pigs to Home On The Range processing on September 28th. Which means it should be in your freezer before the holiday. We are selling half hog for $300 or $600 for whole hog. Only the 6 are available for the rest of the season. Cost is for the hog you pay processing

Our pig are raised in about %80 living food. Meaning they get freshly sprouted wheat fodder most days. They get all the fruits and veggies from Sprouts 5 days a week and spent grain from local brewer 1-2 times a week. There is the occasional day they would get pig food but mostly ate an omnivores delight!

This was our favorite meal we had this past week🤤

Fried chicken breast from freshly processed chicken, with gravy and potatoes 🤤🤤

Obviously how you cook it plays a huge role, but we were pleasantly surprised and happy with how moist and flavorful these breasts were🤤 We may be a bit biased but we think it was by far the best fried chicken we've ever had 😂

One of the best things Farmer Chris has taken away from his dog training career, is just how useful Ruff Land Performance Kennels are on the farm! He uses them to transport birds all the time, but the most useful has been transporting weaned piglets from the barn out to pasture for the first time!

And the best part?
Easy clean up! 🥳 All we have to do is take the pressure washer to them, spray with disinfectant and wipe out! That easy! 🤯

We can definitely say that we will continue to use these kennels for the dogs and the farm!

You can get your hog cut up in whatever cuts of meat you and your family prefer! We love doing a combination of cuts but some of our family's favorites are pork chops, sausage, and pork butt! 🤤

This is what 1/4 of our beef looks like, this is how we we got our quarter cut for our family but you get to get it cut the way your family will eat it

We have 2 more cows that will be going in at the end of the month that are available. We do $1,250 per quarter. As opposed to being fattened off of corn or just pasture these guys have been finished on our freshly grown wheat fodder and dairy hay which makes for a super tasty super healthy marbling

Baby piglets are definitely starting to play with their food!

The fodder has been a wonderful addition to our pigs’ daily routine at Tuckley Ranch. Both our mama sows and finishing pigs get a fresh bucket of sprouted wheat grass each morning.
Our Idaho Pasture Pigs are excellent foragers and grazers—they go ham on it every day! They love it.
The high omega-3 content helps the sows produce richer, healthier milk for their 10 piglets, while helping the feeder pigs put on great fat for plenty of tasty bacon come processing day.

Part of what got me into this whole farming things was wanting to find a place I could vote with my dollar to buy better chicken. I had learned about how 99.99% of all the chicken I had eaten in my life was actually raised. And I couldn’t find any place to buy it. Sure some chicken I could buy was auger fed organic feed with less chemicals on it. Some where “ free range” where they leave “outdoor access” but none where outside scratching and eating grass. So I just decided to grow it myself. If I could raise enough for my family and cover some cost by selling to some friends. Everyone said it was the best chicken they had, so the next season we scaled up and sold every chicken we raised. We realized that there is a desire out there for REAL food m, raised in a way that respects the animals and builds a healthy ecosystem!

I will never be able to grow enough food to supply all of Cheyenne but that is not my goals. My goal is to provide real food to 40 families that care about what goes into their food
