Good Day, Insiders!

Last week I had the distinct honor of participating in the inaugural Top Foodpreneur Accelerator Graduation and Pitch Competition. Thank you to CMAA, CCL, Lewis Innovation Hub and The Coleman Foundation for organizing and facilitating the program.

While we were not selected as a pitch finalist, we gained tremendous knowledge on refining our business, financials and became pitch ready. The connections are invaluable and feel strengthened with a stronger support system. This experience has built confidence and we're ready to create new opportunities for growth.

The illustrious Dr. Ta'Rhonda Jones said to me, describing the butterfly life cycle, 'You'll have to kill the version of yourself that no longer serves you, in order to become the woman you strive to be today!' We hope sharing our journey uplifts another entrepreneur to stay the course, even when it looks bleak. You never know who sees you, cheering you on in rooms you may not physically be in.
