First time owning Cochin Bantams, and I’m learning they LOVE to jump first and ask questions later. Say hello to the three additional teeny tiny raptors: a Blue Splash Wyondotte, a Buff Cochin Bantam and a Black Cochin Bantam.

Slowly introducing my teeny tiny raptors to my full grown tiny raptors, with adult supervision of course.

The chicks are still too little to stay in the big girls coop alone. They have their own area with a heat lamp inside the house, and it will remain that way for about 6 more weeks. After that they will be big enough and have enough adult feathers to join the flock. Until then, their fuzzy butts will stay inside with momma and Di!

I’m very proud of my ladies for being so good around the babies. They were definitely curious, but patient and didn’t show any aggression. Those are great signs!

I am a proud Momma of 29 fluff butts! 😂

I wish I could keep all of them but unfortunately only 6 will be traveling back to Chicago with me and introduced to y’all soon as the newest members of the Tiny Raptors gang.

For those of you who have recently started following my page, Hi! Let me introduce myself.. My name is Kellie. I live in Chicago with my dog Diamond and my ten hens who I call my Tiny Raptors!

I’m a full time paramedic and part time firefighter. When I’m not at work, I am a proud dog and chicken mama! I am currently in Kentucky visiting my family and picking up my newest Tiny Raptor members.

I started this little business of selling fresh farm eggs on the NW side of Chicago last summer and have been entertaining y’all ever since. Thanks for joining us!

Hey Matt Mathews - we found a new use for this mug! Believe it or not the chicks LOVED being carried around in it while I was outside doing farm chores!

For everyone asking, all the babies are doing great! The ones that hatched on their own are full of energy. All eight that I had to help out of their shells and put back in the incubator are getting stronger each day. Pictured are two of those eight! I’m so in love!
