The easiest way to peel peaches. 🍑

Make sure your peaches are ripe!
Cut the peaches in half.
Remove the pits.
Cover the peaches in boiling water for 2 minutes.
Transfer them to a bowl of ice water until cool enough to handle.
The peel should slip right off!

Then make some pie 🥧 or cobbler.

Thank you, Detroit!

An amazing, sold-out event at Vesper Books & Wine with Lisa Ludwinski of Sister Pie. Vesper might be one of my favorite places ever (great wine + great cookbooks + great people), and Symantha and her team are the best.

Tori Amos closed her show at the Fox Theater with the song Baker, Baker….which feels appropriate.

I stopped by Whistler’s Daughter and signed a few copies of my book there, too!

I just love Detroit! 💜
