Soo how’s everyone’s summer going!?
We usually fall back a little in July because it’s Miya’s birthday, but to be honest behind the scenes we been working more than ever trying to get our cafe open. Miya is a GM of a whole restaurant and i’m working at 3 different restaurants, trying to stack and stack and stack.. we really in grind mode 🤮 as ladies 🤢
I feel like a broken record, been saying this for years but it’s sooooo hard to get a brick + mortar going from the ground up with nothing to start. They really don’t teach financial literature in public schools and that’s intentional to keep the poor poor BUT let me not get started on that 😅
But no excuses, i’m old so I still believe that if you put in hard work, discipline and dedication to your craft, you will eventually reach your desired outcome.
For now though, join us tonight at for our only pop-up this month (6-10pm)- featuring some customer favorites: our classic chicken salteñas, al pastor ribs and blueberry cheesecake tres leches 🤤
Thanks as always for the continued support from both our customers, family/friends as well as the lovely businesses that allow us to work in their space.

Hi everyone, happy Friday!
We want to share with you all that starting TODAY, we will be selling tres leches by the slice Friday-Sunday at ! We will be rotating our summer flavors each week: guava coconut, peach cobbler, blueberry cheesecake and banana pudding tres leches. We will be posting the flavor of the week each week- we are so excited because this will make it easier for yall to try our most popular flavors if you don’t need a whole cake!

We are thrilled to be collaborating with this family owned business that’s been a neighborhood staple.
As we posted a while back, the owner had been taken by ICE and ultimately deported out of the country. Since then, his wife and children have been working hard to keep the shop running and we hope to be able to assist in bringing new customers in to continue helping their business thrive ❣️

Flavor for this weekend is GUAVA COCONUT 🇵🇷
Stop by before or after the PR festival/parade for a cold pop, some good food and something sweet to finish. (Cake will be available by 3pm)

Thanks to our beloved Humboldt Park community and everyone outside of it that have been supporting us. It means a lot! Have a fun and safe weekend ❤️
