Today marks the anniversary of a tragedy that changed my life forever.
The injuries may be visible, but the PTSD and the pieces it took from my soul are the battles that never truly clock out. Some days people see strength. Some days all I feel is exhaustion from carrying something that never fully leaves.

I would trade every scar, every lesson, every ounce of growth that came after it… just to have my normal life and peaceful soul back again.

For anyone quietly fighting battles from trauma, you’re not alone. Some wounds don’t bleed, but they still hurt every single day. 🕯️
