Welcome, Summer 2026 Cohort! ☕☕☕

Our Veteran Roasters Barista Corps Training Program is officially underway, and our first cohort has been getting real reps behind the bar — dosing, tamping, dialing in the espresso machine, watching extraction times, and learning the technique behind a properly steamed and frothed pour.

None of this happens without three partners who showed up for our veterans in a big way. A huge thank you to Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association for opening real career pathways, to Big Shoulders Coffee for teaching the craft behind the counter, and to Veterans Path to Hope for standing beside these veterans every step of the way.

And a, extra special thank you to Delilah and Sandra from Veterans Path to Hope who have stood beside us and supported these vets every step of the way.

This is about so much more than teaching veterans to pull a great shot of espresso — it's about rewriting futures and serving those who served us.☕🇺🇸

The mission just got bigger!

Introducing the Veteran Roasters Barista Corps Training Program — hands-on barista training for veterans, with real certification and real job placement through our partners at Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association and Veterans Path to Hope.

Before our first cohort pulled their first shot, our founder Mark took every one of them to Walmart and made sure they were suited up — head to toe in Rags of Honor

Skills. A certificate. A career. That's what we're building here. Because this is what it's all about — serving those who served our country.

Today, Dion and Mark brought that craft to the National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show in Chicago, serving Veteran Roasters coffee at our partner Tradecraft’s booth.
