In just 14 days I’ll be celebrating my 38th birthday, and it has me reflecting on my journey. I think about my parents—my mom who left us in ’92, and my dad who raised me as a single father, alongside the strong women who shaped me and pushed me forward. Their love and influence molded me into the woman, entrepreneur, activist, and so much more that I am today. My parents were Morgan Park’s , and I carry both Brenda & Frank in me every step of the way. ✨
As I get closer to 38, I can’t help but think about everything I wish I’d known at 28. Some came with time, others with mistakes, and a few with the gift of hindsight. What I’ve learned most is that life keeps surprising you—you’ll meet incredible new friends in your 30s, and some friendships are so rare and true they’re worth holding onto no matter the season.
If I could tell my 28-year-old self one thing, it would be:
✨ Trust your path
✨ Protect your peace
✨ Don’t rush the journey
✨ Save your money & invest it
This past year felt different… special. Between nursing school, motherhood, and building new dreams, I realized I don’t need reassurance, and I don’t fear getting older. I’ve found my light, my confidence, and my joy.
There’s so much to be proud of and so much still to come 😉😌❤️❤️❤️
