Last Thursday, Masiramon Chicago had the honor of participating in the inaugural Lunar New Year Market with the Chicago Bulls. As I’ve always been a Bulls girly, sharing my cassava cake on this stage was surreal 🥹

Then realizing I was the ONLY FILIPINA featured made this moment feel bigger than myself. Sharing our stories, flavors, and traditions at the United Center felt both meaningful and humbling. Especially now, when culture and community matter most.
This was a reminder that representation matters, that showing up for our people matters, and that celebrating our roots can inspire others to do the same. Moments like this are more than milestones. They’re opportunities to honor where we come from and pave the way for those who follow
