Oh hi there, I’m new around here! I bet you were expecting some cheese content 😏. I’m simply dropping in to say hello! Our doors have been closed for some time now and a lot has happened since then. Managed to recruit a charcuterie assistant, although we have many years to get her up to speed 🤪. I’ve had a little ‘Babybel’ of my own, Emelia Isabelle- and she is absolutely delicious 🥰. Although we can’t promise if and when a re-launch of Savory Spread will happen, I wanted to take this moment to thank our followers and clients. You’ve given me meaning in the midst of this pandemic and allowed me to create with endless passion. Life is all about balance. At the moment being a new mama has taken priority, giving me all the pride and utter joy. Don’t worry, I’m still making plenty of boards and eating ALL of the cheese 😂. Good morning and Happy March 1st! Today marks about 30 days from the spring re-launch of Savory Spread 👏🙌! We’ve been getting many requests with the new season and I want to personally thank all of you for your continued support! It means the world when you champion a small business even through setbacks, downtime and breaks in between. What you can expect: official website with pricing outline, list of established & new partnerships/ collaborators, fun add-ons, FAQ on food safety and handling, updated packaging and boards, new pickup info (moving West Loop ➡️ Bucktown) and so much more. In accordance with Chicago’s new restrictions: in order to ensure our safety as well as the safety of our incredible clients, we have decided to close our business doors- temporarily! Due to the pandemic, we will be learning and adapting the best practices moving forward. Thank you for your patience as we navigate and adjust through these times. Of course, the best part about making yummy spreads, is getting to eat all the leftovers 🤪! If you’ve noticed a lack of color on your feed, not to worry...we are simply taking a breather.
