I Almost Quit. But I’m Fighting Instead.
This past month brought illness, family turmoil, old wounds, and moments when I questioned my faith and my calling. Last night, I finally stopped trying to carry it all myself and cried out to Jesus.
“Lord, I don’t have this. But You do. Take over.”
And I was reminded: surrender isn’t weakness. Sometimes surrender is how we get back in the fight.
If you’re in your own storm, let this remind you: opposition is not abandonment. If all you can pray is, “Jesus, help me,” pray it.
I’m not quitting. I’m not cowering. I’m fighting from a place of surrender.
The Lord of Hosts is still Lord.
And I’m still here.
