We had a great time celebrating Cinco de Mayo at . From the margaritas, to the tacos, to meeting Lulu herself, it was the perfect place to be for the holiday. Our favorites were the arrachera fajitas and picadillo tacos.

Had some great Mediterranean at in River North. We enjoyed their spread sampler & house-made pita, with their whipped harissa feta being our favorite. We definitely recommend their flaming saganaki as well.

We love a good Jewish deli and hit the spot. You can never go wrong with a classic lox sandwhich and some matzah ball soup. The toasted jalapeño cream cheese had a nice kick. Don’t skip their salted chocolate chip cookies.

Finally got to which was long awaited. The mushroom margarita was a very unique drink which tasted great. The pasta highlights of the meal were the pappardelle and strozzapreti. We also ordred the potted carrots and fritto misto, which were delicious appetizers.

is a newer kitchen and bar in the suburbs, and a great addition to the North Shore. We celebrated a birthday here and they really went all out. Some favorites were the flatbreads, burgers, and the turkey pastrami sandwich.

After trying for a reservation at for way too long, we finally decided to go early to put our name on the waitlist, and it was well worth it. We started with the délice de bourgogne & truffle honey for a delicious appetizer. Next up was the chicken tikka masala with charred naan, which was covered in za’atar. Lastly, with our waiter’s recommendation, was their oxtail & red wine pot pie. Armitage Ale House is another great from , and we will definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu.

We recently tried a new spot on Clark street, . This is a modern Turkish resturant. We are so glad they recommended to try Beyti for an entree! This was our favorite dish, the meat was tender and the sauce was delicious. We also tried the tirokaftori dip & chicken kebabs.
