Local Photographer Wanted: Capture our Mug Magic! ✨

We’re looking for one talented photographer to collaborate with us on a merchandise shoot, creating simple, warm, holiday-inspired images similar in style to our annual mug photography. This opportunity may be a great fit for someone looking to build their portfolio while gaining exposure through one of Chicago’s most beloved holiday traditions.

🎄What we're looking for:
• Professional photography and photo-editing experience
• A portfolio showcasing your work
• Experience with product, merchandise, or styled lifestyle photography is preferred
• An eye for simple, polished compositions that still capture the warmth and magic

The shoot will take place at our office in downtown Chicago in early September. Our team will provide the merchandise along with festive décor and styling elements. The selected photographer will be responsible for photographing and editing the final images.

Please note that this is not a paid photography assignment. In appreciation for your time and talent, the selected photographer will receive two (2) tickets to ’Twas the Night Before Christkindlmarket ($185+ value), our opening-night event on November 19, 2026.

Your photography will have the opportunity to be featured across Christkindlmarket social media channels and website, as well as materials shared with media outlets, and photo credit will be provided whenever applicable.

The beloved holiday tradition is returning for a milestone season! Celebrate 30 years at Daley Plaza in Chicago, 5 years at RiverEdge Park in Aurora, and 8 seasons at Gallagher Way in Wrigleyville. The holiday magic is still going strong! All three Christkindlmarket locations will be open on Christmas Eve from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM for one last festive stroll before the holiday.

It’s the final day of the season for our lovely vendors at the Christkindlmarket Chicago and the Christkindlmarket Aurora - come support them and soak in the last moments of cozy cheer!

✨ The Christkindlmarket Wrigleyville will continue welcoming visitors daily through December 31 (closed on Christmas Day), so the celebration doesn’t end just yet.
