What an evening last night as we launched Tequila El Bagazo at Bar Sótano - Chef Jackie, Julianna, and the team perfectly paired each of El Bagazo’s three new Tequilas with dishes from their incredible menu. Esteban Morales has really created something truly special. His fresh and “outside the box” approach is what Tequila needs, and anyone who loves the spirit will want to get their hands on these bottles. That’s where we come in. We are now accepting preorders, with very limited quantities arriving in mid-September. DM if interested…and you should be!

These Chablis always make me happy! Hard to believe it’s been 20 years since Thomas Pico created the domaine, and we have been longtime fans. Small quantities just came into Illinois, and we are excited to offer them at the store. This is a good example of the type of great w**es you will see on our newsletter. Sign up via our website. Thanks for your support! **e

It’s really challenging to find great Hermitage Rouge these days. This 2019 Colombier checks all the boxes. The Viale family produces small amounts from the appellation, with the core of their production coming from Crozes-Hermitage. If you love Northern Rhône Syrah this is one not to miss!

petillant is my #1 selling w**e for a reason. This pét nat was made with summer in mind. A blend of Muscat de Frontignan, Macabeu and Xarel.lo, it’s aromatic, fresh, “prickly” and SO refreshing. Buy this by the case!

I’m obsessed with the w**es of in Offida. From an enjoyment perspective these check all the boxes, beautiful aromatics, incredible purity, complex and just fun to drink. From an analytical standpoint, I don’t think there is anyone in Offida doing a better job. The work in the vineyard, the ability to transmit terroir and the balance of the w**es, which is no easy feat. Not to mention it is always nice to sell w**e from nice people. Grazie to Alessia, Alessandro and Valeria!
