April is taking shape at Picnic, and we’ve got a month full of wine, music, art, and a few special moments we’re really excited about. 🍷

From live music and gallery nights to our weekly tastings, there’s something happening all month long—and a few new additions we think you’ll love.

✨ First Friday Gallery Show (4/3) – “Subversive Surrealism” by Emily Michelle
✨ Picnic After Dark – live music throughout the month
✨ Blind Tasting: Earth Day Edition (4/22) – a special night exploring how place, soil, and climate shape what’s in your glass

For Earth Day, we’re adding a little something extra…
Doors open at 6:00 for a relaxed pre-tasting hang, featuring a special off-menu cocktail—the Gaia Negroni—created just for the night.

And of course, join us every Thursday from 5–7 pm for our weekly wine tastings.

Take a look at the calendar, grab a friend, and come spend some time with us.

🎟️ Tickets for the Earth Day Blind Tasting are available now on our website or at Picnic.

Think you know your wine? Let’s find out. 🍷

Join us for a Blind Tasting Night at Picnic—where labels disappear and your palate takes the lead.

Three wines. One grape. Zero clues.

You’ll taste and try to guess:
Old World or New World
The grape
Region… and more

Answers are scored (yes, it gets a little competitive 😏), and the sharpest palate of the night takes home a bottle of their favorite.

The twist?
These wines are not what you’d expect.

It’s fun, a little humbling, and a great way to shake up what you think you know about wine.

✨ April 1
✨ Doors at 6:00 | Start at 6:30
✨ $25 (includes tasting + light snacks)

Come solo or bring a friend—either way, you’ll leave with a new perspective (and maybe a prize).

🎟️ Tickets available on our website or at Picnic

🥃✨ A little local adventure yesterday…

We spent the afternoon at in Ravenswood — tasting, learning, and getting inspired.
From beautifully crafted whiskey and gin to more unexpected spirits like ginger and chrysanthemum, everything felt thoughtful, expressive, and just a little adventurous… very much our kind of place.

What made it even more special is the timing. We were both on the edge of opening when the world shut down — navigating those early pandemic days in parallel, figuring things out as we went. There’s something meaningful about reconnecting now, a few years later, in a completely different season.

We left with full hearts, inspired ideas, and a few fun possibilities for future collaborations we can’t wait to share with you.

This is what we love most — discovering, connecting, and bringing those experiences back to Picnic.

Stay tuned… 🍷🥃

Happy International Women’s Day

Picnic is proud to be a women-owned and women-run business, powered by an incredible team of women who show up every day with heart, creativity, and strength.

Today we’re raising a glass to the women behind the wines we pour, the women who paved the way before us, and the women continuing the work today—often quietly, often courageously—making the world more equal, more compassionate, and more connected.
Progress didn’t happen by accident, and it isn’t guaranteed. It exists because women—and allies—continue to stand up, speak out, and support one another.

We’re grateful to be part of a community that believes in lifting each other up, sharing stories, and finding joy in every shared experience.

Here’s to the women of Picnic, the women in wine, and the women everywhere making life better for those who come next. 🍷

🌸🍷 Sunday at Picnic: Celebrating Women in Wine
In honor of International Women’s Day, we’ll be raising a glass to some of the remarkable women shaping the world of wine.

Wine is a global story, but the people behind the bottles haven’t always been equally represented. Tomorrow we’re taking a moment to celebrate a few women whose work we admire and whose wines we’re proud to share.

✨ Women in Wine Flight – $18

• Luna Sicana Catarratto — Sicily
Costanza Trevisan carries forward her family’s vineyard with deep respect for the land and Sicilian tradition.

• Caruso e Minini — Sicily
Giovanna and Rosanna Minini lead this family estate, bringing new energy and perspective to a historic winery.

• Brooks Pinot Noir — Oregon
Janie Brooks Heuck stepped in to save the winery after the loss of founder Jimi Brooks and built one of Oregon’s most respected estates.

Join us tomorrow as we celebrate the women behind the bottle and the stories that connect us.

✨ All flights served with a snack. Available all day.

Grace & Gravity 🍷

Tonights tasting is a special one.

It’s a lineup that moves from lift to depth — from sparkle to silk to power.

And this week, I’ll be pouring. It means I get to slow down, open meaningful bottles, and share why they earned their place on the table.

We’re opening with a lively ancestral Pét-Nat, moving into Brooks Rosé, then their stunning Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir, and finishing with the bold, structured Sant’Agostino from Sicily.

I want to slow down, open meaningful bottles, and share why they made the list.

These are wines I believe in. Producers I respect.

If you’ve been meaning to come in on a Thursday — this is a good one.
