Chicago Meat Authority is a premier independent producer of beef, pork, and poultry products

CMA is proud to be celebrating our 32nd year of serving the food industry with the highest quality meats and services. The company’s success is based on founder Jordan Dorfman’s business philosophy of partnering with, and responding to, customers’ needs better. In reaching this goal, CMA constantly strives to build a better-trained, more dedicated work force, so all involved are working with the end in mind … the needs of the customer. Less management layers also benefits the customer in that they receive timely and decisive response to their needs. Chicago Meat Authority employs almost 400 people on three shifts, and is headquartered in the historic Chicago Stockyards. These business philosophies have produced a very dedicated and experienced workforce with 70% of CMA employees celebrating 5+ years. The company has finished off their most recent expansion which includes a new 20,000 square foot USDA-inspected plant located directly across 47th Place from CMA’s current plant.
