Inspired by The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, this spooky pilsner puts a fun twist on pumpkin b**r—without the pumpkin (just the seeds)! Brewed with German Weyermann malts and Bulgarian “Lady Nail” pumpkin seeds in the mash, it delivers a malty, subtly salty character with a light-bodied finish. Served on our authentic LUKR side-pull draft line for a lusciously smooth pour and a frothy cap of foam.⁠

A little look back at the Season Ticket Exclusive Blend-A-Barrel Workshop yesterday. 🥃🪾⁠

As a new addition to this year’s Deep Wood Season Ticket, our Season Ticket Holders got an inside look at the art of barrel blending and the craft behind making a world-class wood-aged masterpiece. They spent the morning tasting a range of Deep Wood b**rs before working alongside Marty and Victor to build and evaluate blends of their own.⁠
⁠
And these weren’t just exercises in blending. The final compositions selected by our Season Ticket Holders will make their way into future draft-only Deep Wood Series variants, giving them a direct hand in shaping b**rs that will eventually make their way into the wild.⁠

It’s moments like these that remind us why the Deep Wood Season Ticket is about more than simply getting your hands on the b**r. It’s about opening the cellar doors and inviting you into the process—to taste what’s happening in the barrels, meet the people behind the b**rs, and help shape what comes next.⁠

COCONUT DETH 🥥🔨🌴⁠

If you are like most humans who prefer big, dumb b**rs, you’ve probably crossed paths with the all-too-familiar combination of b**r, barrel, coconut. Well, we didn’t want to mess with perfection too much—but Marty, Victor, and co. figured there was still a room to tinker. A little more oak, a little more sass, and suddenly we had a new way to enjoy the same deliciously leggy coconut stout you know and love, but with a considerably oakier disposition.⁠
⁠
This year’s Coconut Deth is a blend of Oatmeal Stouts aged in Russell’s Reserve and Heaven Hill bourbon barrels, with 50% of the barrels receiving an additional treatment of convection-toasted French oak for several months, coaxing out even more of that coveted oakoconut character. Once wood-baked to perfection, the b**r gets a weeklong rest on freshly toasted coconut flakes at a dosing rate of ten pounds per barrel.⁠

The result is a sweet, malty affair with lush coconut character up front and a dry, boozy finish that beckons you to sip, and sip, and sip again.⁠

SUPERMASSIVE COCONUT DETH 🥥🫈🪵⁠

If ten pounds per barrel simply isn’t enough coconut for you, then perhaps it’s best you stick with the Supermassive variant from this year’s Twenty Ten Variant Collection. This more playful expression receives DOUBLE the coconut and supplemental oak found in Coconut Deth, resulting in a metric gob of coconut counterweighted by roughly five times the oak intensity of aging in barrels alone.⁠

CAFÉ DETH 💀☕🛶⁠

Next on our autumnal jaunt through the Deep Wood trails takes us along the flowing meanders of the coffee-steeped Café Deth. Always crafted in collaboration with our dear friends , this jet-black stream winds lazily beneath the canopy, carrying the alluring fragrance of roast and freshly brewed coffee through the mist.⁠

One part Guatemalan Catuai and one part Peruvian Incahuasi, this year’s selection brings together two special coffee varietals with their own peculiar paths to liquid. The former is long favored for its rich, chocolatey character, takes a curious detour through a Scandinavian Kveik fermentation process for a clean, ester-free profile. Meanwhile the latter hails from a small collective of farms near Machu Picchu, bringing subtle notes of pecan and orange blossom along for the journey.⁠
⁠
Together, they snuggle into our rich imperial stout with cozy aplomb, wrapped in a creamy, full-bodied texture that lets the coffee shine against a foundation of dark malt and firm roast. The result is deeply aromatic yet remarkably smooth, with a complexity that slowly unfurls as it warms.⁠

Follow the river far enough and you’ll eventually find the cloaked skeletal ferryman, drifting quietly downstream, ready to carry you onward.⁠
