“Somos One” did it thanks to you! In just one week, we exceeded our goal to transform $5,000 into 3750 pounds of food. Seeing the faces of the families receiving them last Saturday was proof that when we unite, we are unstoppable.

“Somos One” lo logró gracias a ustedes! En solo una semana, rompimos la meta y transformamos esos $5,000 en 1700 kilos de apoyo. Ver las caras de las familias al recibir su apoyo el sábado pasado fue la prueba de que cuando nos unimos, somos imparables.

💔 ICE raids and prosecutions continue to tear apart our hardworking communities and separate families, here in Chicago.

I kindly ask you to share the following link and, if possible, make a donation to help families who have lost a loved one due to deportations. My cook’s wife was taken away, leaving behind their 7 and 16 year old daughters. They won’t be able to be together for at least 10 years and there are many other families going through the same situation.

Cycling x Solidarity’s latest mutual aid effort takes cyclists on group rides through Pilsen and other neighborhoods to buy out tamale vendors so they can stay home as ICE agents swarm the city. They pass out the food to people in need.
