🐼 Panda Fest Chicago… I wanted to love it more 😅

I honestly expected there to be more vegan options, but the selection was pretty limited. We found fried rice (which unexpectedly had curry 👀), grilled tofu that was DELICIOUS, shiitake mushrooms that were also amazing, and eggplant that was… okay 😂

I also got a taro boba with non-dairy milk 🧋💜

Between the huge crowds, the heat, and the rain, we eventually decided to call it a day and head home without even getting dessert.

Overall, I expected more vegan food options and a little more variety. 🥲🐼

Warehouse Bar & Pizza never disappoints - especially when you’re craving a seriously indulgent vegan pizza.

We started with their hummus (so good, as always) and then went all in on the large vegan pizza: vegan sausage, pepperoni & cheese, plus caramelized onions, garlic, green peppers & mushrooms. 😮‍💨🍕✨

Also, I haven’t seen a few of my favorites in a while (the Korean steak, the affogato) - I wonder if they discontinued them🥲

Veggie pizza in Chicago 🍕

📍Robert’s Pizza (Chicago)

This place is always packed, so we finally had to try it! We saw they had a vegan pizza option and had also read that they offer vegan sausage, but unfortunately they didn’t have it anymore - and no vegan cheese either 🥲

We went with the vegan pizza, and it was still really flavorful thanks to the Calabrian chili sauce.

I’d give it a 7/10 - good as is, but some vegan cheese and a protein like tempeh would definitely take it to the next level! 🍕

I was craving shawarma, so I made these Mediterranean soy curl bread pockets 🌱🥙

Loaded with seasoned soy curls, fresh veggies, caramelized red onions, and creamy vegan tzatziki - SO much flavor in every bite. 🤌

A little reminder to eat the rainbow 🌈🌱

This bowl starts with Tezza Foods dairy-free soy yogurt and gets topped with a whole rainbow of fresh fruit 🍒🍊🥝🫐

With 24g+ of protein and nearly 30g of fiber, it’s colorful, nourishing, and most importantly… SO good. 🤌

Proof that getting more plants into your day can be pretty delicious. 🌱✨

Being vegan while traveling sometimes means getting a little creative 😂🌱

I learned my lesson last year when I was traveling for work and basically had nothing to eat, so this time I came prepared 😂 Made a quick trip to the store and grabbed something I could eat straight from the package.

Was I about to eat a plate of veggies and call it lunch? Absolutely not. Emergency tofu to the rescue 🫡
