Goodbye to and and Happy !
How time flies!
It seems it was just yesterday that we started working on the details for 2025 AAPI Restaurants Week 2025 AAPI Restaurants Week , and it is over for another year.
As it will be the 5th(!) next year, we hope we can far exceed our record of 58 participating restaurants. Please tell your AAPI restaurateur friends of this annual celebratory event. As always, there is no cost to participate. The only criterion is that at least one of the owners is of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander descent. We are not specifically looking for restaurants of AAPI cuisines but to support AAPI-owned restaurants, so *ALL CUISINES ARE WELCOME!*
There is no obligation to offer anything special for , but we do strongly encourage restaurants to consider donating a portion of the proceeds, which many of the participating restaurants have done, to support AAPI-serving nonprofits.
Since our inaugural , some participating restaurants have permanently closed, while newly opened restaurants have joined us. We had quite a lot of returning plus new participating restaurants this year. Modeled after Black Restaurant Week (which just celebrated their 10th season this year), which celebrates Black-owned restaurants regardless of the food offered, we are not as well-known as Black Restaurant Week or Latino Restaurant Week, but we hope our little annual culinary event that focuses on celebrating AAPI restaurant owners will continue for years to come.
We look forward to 2026 AAPI Restaurants Week 2026 AAPI Restaurants Week , which has been scheduled for May 15-24, 2026, during which we will also highlight . See you all then!
