Tony Rossi Coaching, LLC Talking food, fun and mental health :) I’m Tony Rossi. I love connecting with positive and inspiring people. I also like to laugh. Sometimes too loud.

Making others laugh is fun too :)

In 2014, I met some like minded artists! I joined the Chicago Acting in Film Meetup, the Thriving Artist Circle (under Dallas Travers), and joined Courtney Rioux’s program. Can we discuss how there’s lots of people like this in Chicago? (We don’t have to actually discuss it). I’ve been here in 2010. This place is pretty great. I’ve taken classes at bot

h Second City and Green Room studios. I’ve worked with theatre companies including Eclipse Theatre, Factory Theatre, and Waltzing Mechanics. I also worked on multiple Chicago television sets as an extra/stand in (where there is SO much free coffee!) Oh, and I recently booked my first print shoot (two of them!) and web commercial! While I strive for positivity and inspiration, it doesn’t always work. Often I think I’m being inspiring….then end up doing something silly and embarrassing. I'll share these every Friday ( ). Should you want to hear more embarrassing things, or just need a dose of positivity, check out my blog! I’d love to connect with you, so don’t hesitate to reach out. Unless you’re negative. And uninspiring. Then maybe we shouldn’t connect…

TFW you love burgers but are also gluten free 😂

Went live for Kinzie Foods | BBQ Sauce at Burger Fest Chicago and did not leave hungry!

Large in part to the folks at Epic Burger. Had a chance to try their limited time only Italian Beef burger 👀

As a foodie and mental health advocate? I didn’t even realize how much we had in common…

Epic Burger wants more people to “enjoy non processed food at an affordable price,” or as they put it….

“A more mindful burger”

Plus their owner David Grossman founded The Hallie225 Foundation, a non profit building a kinder more compassion world by helping those in need ❤️

Food. Fun. Mental health.

Folks over at Epic Burger are one of my new favorites.

Give them a follow and check out one of their 9 locations!

PS - Shoutout to Lakeview Roscoe Village & Special Events Management for putting together a fun event and for all they did for the vendors on a crazy weather weekend!

Am I the first person ever to do this at a cubs game?!

As an avid pickle lover, I knew I had to check out the new Pickles & Protein menu from my friends at Devil Dawgs 🥒

Brought it with me to Wrigley Field.

Went with the chicken & pickles, plus a few sliders and pickles. (Was tempted by that Italian Beef….)

For gluten free folks like myself?? This was perfect.

Go to any of the 6 Devil Dawgs locations to try their new pickles and protein menu!

Let me know what you got 😃

PS - Anyone else in Chicago a fan of Devil Dawgs?? What’s your go to order??

(And have any of you tried that Elvis slider???)

To my LGBTQIA+ friends -

Things might be harder for you and your mental health than it is for privileged folks like me.

So go easy on yourselves.

Just know that you being your truest most unapologetic self?

It makes this world a better place friend.

Happy Pride everyone.

PS - Pride is not partisan.

I wish this weren’t a controversial topic.

My DMs are open if you want a safe space to talk about any of this - agree, disagree or ask questions

Well…that was awkward…

…and delicious 😂

All it took was a few minutes away from the group.

But honestly this is me at reunions in a nutshell…

Awkward. Crooked name tag. And looking for food 😂

Here’s the thing I’ve learned tho…

No one is judging you the way you think.

Everyone is too busy focusing on themselves to be thinking about you.

So try to enjoy yourself. And like, take a break to get some food….that way you can decompress…and also get food….👀

PS - In all seriousness, it was really nice seeing folks I hadn’t seen in a really long time.

Shoutout to my Melrose High friends and colleagues.

Next time I’ll try to take some photos that aren’t just me and my food 😉

PPS - Ohhhhh my goodness that BBQ short rib rice bowl from ?? SO good!

They got plenty of pizza and appetizers for those of you who like some good bar food, but the rice bowl was more up my alley 🙌🏻

Check em out on Mystic Avenue in Medford!

Mood when there’s food in New England that just doesn’t hit the same when you’re elsewhere….

Give these cool local restaurants a follow!

1) - freaking loooooove their lobsters whenever I’m home! And their smoked salmon?? You’ll never want the grocery stuff stuff after eating this…

2) - they’ve got a few locations, plus a food truck! I’m gluten free (hence the salad) but def recommend if you want a solid lobster roll.

3) - need a break from seafood?? This spot has super cool vibes and live music! Lots of pizza and appetizers, but since I m gluten free? I went with the BBQ rob rice bowl….holy cow that was good 😋

4) - I come here almost every visit with my 92 year old Grandpa 😀

Despite the busy Sunday rush, they always give us a good meal with great service 🙌🏻

I built my own omelette with a bunch of veggies and shaved sirloin….it was so big 👀 (not complaining at all!)

Save this post in case you need a reminder for food spots the next time you’re in the area!

And don’t forget to give their pages a follow to support local restaurants 🙌🏻

PS - Got a seafood or breakfast spot in New England I need to check out??

Tag them below!

Who else would eat a burger with peanut butter???? 👀👀

Not gonna lie…probably wouldn’t have gone out of my way to try this had I not met the owner of .dawgs…

But I decided to give it a shot when I went in for the first time while doing an hour long live.

…I’ll let you see my live reaction 😂

Shoutout to .dawgs! They have six locations throughout Chicago 🙌🏻

(I visited their Andersonville location. It’s not showing on IG yet but I always walk by the Lakeview spot by the Belmont red line!)

PS - I do TikTok lives talking about food, fun and mental health, highlighting cool people and places around Chicago 😀

Got a spot I should hit next?

Post/tag your recommendations below! ⬇️

In my defense….they never taught me how to eat on camera at 😂

(But I loved it there 😉)

I’m gluten and dairy free. I’m literally when it comes to being a foodie.

And….yeah….I always make a mess on camera 🤦🏻‍♂️

But it’s fun. And I love food.

And I loved going live at at Windy City Hot Dog Fest 🙌🏻

Even if I was super messy 😂

Here’s to food, fun, mental health, and being along the way ❤️

PS - That was the “Chance the Snappa” alligator sausage from . So. Freaking good.

(Also pictured: chili hot dog and …both of which deserve their own post…like I’m STILL thinking about that bacon…)
