Did you know that a single honey bee will produce only about 1/12th of a teaspoon of honey in her entire lifetime? 🐝 Talk about a team effort! It takes thousands of miles of flight and endless teamwork to fill even one of our jars.
Speaking of teamwork, Orion is holding down the fort at the Beverly Farmers Market today! While he might not be doing the "waggle dance" (the secret way bees communicate distance to flowers), he’s definitely got that same level of high-energy dedication to make sure you walk away with the best local harvest.
Come by, say hi, and stock up on the good stuff. We’re ready to help you find your new favorite infusion! 🍯✨

Did you know that Skokie is home to the North Shore Sculpture Park, an outdoor gallery stretching along the North Shore Channel that features over 30 massive, rotating sculptures? It’s basically a world-class art museum where you can get your daily steps in without ever walking through a doorway. 🎨🚶‍♂️
While you’re out strolling and soaking up the culture, keep an eye out for our fuzzy little "sculptors"—the bees—busily gathering nectar from the native wildflowers nearby. Nature is the ultimate artist, and we’re just here to bottle the sweet, golden results for you!
Next time you’re out for a stroll at the park, come stop by our stall to taste the hard work of our buzzing team. 🍯🐝

We always knew our blueberry nectar honey was special, but just proved it’s downright magical. 🪄🥧
She took 15 pounds of Honey Grove's finest and baked it into this absolute masterpiece, complete with a stunning honeycomb lattice crust. I haven't even tasted it yet, but I’m finally getting my slice of this wizardry this Saturday at the Lockport market!
If you like pie, she’s your witch. Go check out her page, show some love, and see what other spells she’s casting in the kitchen.

Good morning, Beverly! ☀️🍯
Honey Grove is officially set up at the 95th Street Farmers Market today! My sister Elise is running the booth this morning—and since she personally hosts several of our bee colonies right next door at her house in Mount Greenwood, you are literally buying honey straight from the source!
While you are grabbing your tote bags and heading over to the market, here are a couple of quirky facts about the beautiful Beverly neighborhood:
⛰️ It is the highest point in Chicago. Beverly sits on the Blue Island Ridge, an ancient glacial ridge that makes it the highest natural elevation in the entire city (almost 100 feet above Lake Michigan). Our foraging bees definitely appreciate the altitude!
🏰 It has an actual, real-life castle. Built in 1886, the Givins Castle on 103rd and Longwood Drive was modeled after a medieval Irish fortress. It is the only building in Chicago that is recognized as an authentic castle.
Come stop by the 95th Street Market today, grab your favorite Honey Grove infusions (like the Vanilla Maple Bourbon, Apple Cinnamon, or Hibiscus), and say hi to Elise! 🌿🐝

Double Trouble at Francis Field Today! 👯‍♀️🍯
Good morning, everyone! While part of the Honey Grove crew is up north, the fabulous Abby and Zita are holding down the fort at the Francis Field event today!
It is an absolutely beautiful Sunday to get out, walk the field, and support local. Abby and Zita have the booth fully stocked and ready to go with all your favorites. Whether you need to restock your pantry with our pure, raw local honey or you are looking to grab one of our signature infusions—like the Vanilla Maple Bourbon, Apple Cinnamon, or Hibiscus—they have you covered!
Stop by the tent, say hi to the ladies, and let them help you pick out something sweet for the week. They would love to see you! 🌿🍯

Good morning, Skokie! ☀️
We are all set up at the Skokie Farmers Market this morning and feeling a little historical! While you are getting your tote bags ready to head over, here are a few quirky facts about our host town you probably didn’t know:
🦆 It literally means "Big Swamp." Before it was the bustling suburb we know today, this entire area was mostly marshland. The name "Skokie" actually comes from a Potawatomi word for "great marsh." (Honestly, rich native wetlands are an absolute dream for foraging bees! 🐝)
📮 A mail crisis forced a name change. Skokie was originally incorporated as "Niles Center" back in 1888. But mail kept getting hopelessly mixed up with the neighboring town of Niles. It got so bad that the residents held a referendum in 1940 and voted to rename the town Skokie just to get their letters delivered to the right houses.
🏛️ The ultimate multi-tasking building. Skokie’s very first public building, built in 1887, wore a lot of hats. It simultaneously served as the town firehouse, the local jail, the recreation center, and the Village Hall. Talk about an efficient use of space!
Come see us at the Honey Grove booth today! Grab your favorite infusions, ask us about the hives, and let us know if you have any of your own weird Skokie trivia. We will be here all morning! 🍯🌿 🤖✨
