That’s a wrap on another incredible Pug Fest weekend. We’re still not sure we’ve ever seen that many pugs in one weekend, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at The Lounge and helped us bring Pug Day to Glen Ellyn Public House for the very first time. Year after year, you show up with your pups, your best costumes, and so much enthusiasm for one of our favorite Maplewood traditions. Watching old friends reunite, new friends meet, and a whole lot of dogs happily take over Maplewood for the weekend is exactly why we love doing this.
Thank you to Copperplate Tattoo, Chicago Taco Authority, Mostly Mayer, Marlon and the Shakes, and all of our partners, vendors, staff, and friends who helped make both days so special.
And we’re not quite done yet! We have some incredible photobooth photos of you and your pups coming tomorrow, plus a little Morbidly Obese Pug Vanilla Malted Milkshake and Pug Fest merch still hanging around at both locations if you missed out this weekend.
Next year marks our 10th Pug Fest, and somehow we already can’t wait to do it all over again. Thank you for loving pugs (and Maplewood) as much as we do.
