Ah, churchkhela! The traditional, naturally sweet treat in Georgia.

Reflecting the importance of grapes in all facets of life, churchkhela is made from fresh grape juice from the vineyard, walnuts and a bit of flour. The various colors reflect the grapes 🍇.

The the very dark ones are likely Saperavi!
