1. How to make Saffron Coconut Popsicle?

As summer temperatures rise, there's nothing better than a refreshing treat to cool you down (our kids love them). Our Saffron Coconut Popsicles are the perfect way to stay cool and enjoy in a healthy dessert at the same time. Made with rich, creamy coconut milk, aromatic saffron, and a hint of citrus, these popsicles are not only delicious but also packed with natural goodness.

Ingredients
⅛ gram Saffron Threads or powdered (a small pinch)
1 cup of organic unsweetened coconut milk
or 1 cup of whole milk
½ cup suger
A pinch of sea salt
1 cup Of fresh lime juice to taste

Instructions
Blend the Ingredients:
Pour the coconut milk or your whole milk in a blender and your saffron threads, fresh lime juice, pinch of sea salt and your cup of sugar. Blend until everything is evenly combined.
Cool the Mixture:
Pour the mixture into six popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion.Place the molds in the freezer and let them freeze for 4-6 hours or overnight.
Freeze, Unmold and Enjoy:
To remove the popsicles from the molds, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds to loosen them. Enjoy your refreshing saffron popsicles!
Tips:
For a creamier texture in the vegan version, you can use more coconut milk and less almond milk. Adding a pinch of salt can enhance the overall flavor in both versions. Feel free to experiment with other flavorings, such as rose water or orange blossom water, for a unique twist.

Heray Spice is all about sourcing best quality and freshest possible saffron and rarest ingredients.

At several trade shows and through texts, we’ve been asked the same question again and again: “When will you add Chilgozah pine nuts?”

This week, we are introducing something that carries memory, meaning, and generations of quiet craftsmanship within it. Many of us grew up (in Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Iran and across Middle East) cracking them open slowly, sharing them with family, or enjoying them alongside tea in simple, peaceful moments.

In the high mountains of (Paktia Afghanistan) where the air is crisp and the land remains untouched, a rare treasure grows wild. Today, I’m honored to introduce something very special:

Last year we launched : Wild Afghani Hing (Asafoetida).
(it got sold out within weeks ).

If you’ve never heard of hing before, you’re not alone. Outside of Indian and Central Asian kitchens, it’s still largely unknown.

But trust me, once you try it, it becomes hard to imagine cooking without it. Imagine not using salt, pepper, garlic or onion ever again…

Hing is a natural resin harvested from the wild ferula plant. When raw, its aroma is… intense (we won’t sugarcoat that). But the magic happens when a tiny crushed piece hits hot oil or ghee. In seconds, it transforms into deep umami: savory, oniony, garlicky, earthy, the kind of flavor that makes a dish feel complete. a foundational flavor enhancer that quietly elevates everything it touches.

Our hing comes from the Pashtun District of Herat Province in Afghanistan, where it’s wild-foraged by Fazl Ahmad, a local farmer/forager carrying generations of knowledge. Thanks to Fazl Ahmad for helping us bring this amazing spice into the hands of our customers.

Our Heray Afghani Hing comes from the wild roots of Ferula asafoetida, growing in the rugged, high-altitude regions of Herat Afghanistan.

This is a long maturity period plant. It takes years for each plant to mature, yields only a small amount of resin, and must be harvested entirely by hand.
The actual time is approximately five years to mature sufficiently to produce the resin.

It is difficult to grow. The plant (Ferula asafoetida) needs cold winters, dry conditions, and high altitudes, making it unsuitable for cultivation in most parts of the world, including most of Afghanistan. Also asafoetida is harvested from wild plants rather than cultivated farms, making the supply chain even harder and more vulnerable to political instability in regions like Afghanistan.
