While one institution is breaking all the rules about bees, another organization is celebrating them. As an official vendor of the we are proud to help promote and celebrate all bees and pollinators on the 19 acre campus in Chicago. With the help of my Spokesperson and Program Manager along with the Head Groundskeeper and my "intern" on site, we are helping to create an oasis on the Southside for all pollinators to thrive. With hummingbirds, bumblebees, ladybugs, praying mantis, dragonflies and even a coyote already finding a home. Lisa and I have the same vision for the site and we have discussed BIG plans for mother nature to thrive!
Pictured is one of 3 hives that will be on campus in the coming years. I would not be here if it wasn't for a village of people to make this happen, and not all were Beekeepers but lovers of nature. The honeybee brings people together, and then we can pass along our knowledge of other pollinators. I've been told the children have gotten extremely excited when they see the hive and have a ton of questions. I am so excited that this project is already getting a "buzz".
As an official vendor of the and a steward to all bees and pollinators, we will always support the promotion of all pollinators, big and small, known and unknown, blue or red. I am here to teach but also learn, and we will continue to do so as long as I am able. Thanks for listening.
