🥹With tears in my eyes on this last day of September I celebrate ME! 14 years of living my dreams. This hasn’t by far been easy but it’s been worth it. Thank you to every client, employee, family, supporters and friends who have been here along this journey there is no me without you. I started this afraid but God has shown me time and time again who my help comes from and have put amazing examples and mentors in my life like my Mother Earnestine Battles and my Pastor Pastor John F. Hannah to keep pushing even in hard times. From baking cookies and cakes to catering small events to corporate events to running a company in one of the most prestigious buildings in Downtown Chicago to now running an event space in West Town(and yes I still do all these things 😂) I literally look at my life daily in awe of how my company has grown. Things I didn’t even know to pray for have come to pass because I trusted God to be the Author of my story. So here’s to 14 years Purple Ribbon Chef 🥂

It was such an honor to cater for the Emmett Till and Mamie Till-Mobley Monument opening a few weeks ago. Being apart of Chicago’s history has been one of the most fulfilling parts of running Purple Ribbon Chef 💜

Thank you to my amazing team who executed the family style 55th anniversary of the ETA Theater Gala this past weekend for 100 people. I’m never able to get many pictures because we are always working so hard but these are the few I was able to grab throughout the day

Cultivating a culture of representation and belonging is not merely a moral imperative; it is a high-leverage business strategy that directly correlates to your company’s bottom line. When employees feel seen, respected, and connected to their peers through shared experiences, they are significantly more empowered to contribute at their highest level. The event at my clients office that I curated was representation at its finest!

Cultivating a culture of representation and belonging is not merely a moral imperative; it is a high-leverage business strategy that directly correlates to your company’s bottom line. When employees feel seen, respected, and connected to their peers through shared experiences, they are significantly more empowered to contribute at their highest level. This celebration curated for one of my clients was nothing short of amazing!
