Thank you for supporting our family tradition! ❤️ I am a proud Mexican American woman whose tamal-making journey began out of necessity—just trying to find a way to help pay bills. My husband had ACL repair surgery in July and has been out of work for months, so together we decided to start making and selling tamales to get by. What we though

t would be something small quickly became something beautiful and unexpected, as more and more people began booking us. Our recipe is a gift passed down from my grandma, then to my mom, and now to me—three generations of love, tradition, and strength in every bite. My husband, even through his recovery, has stood beside me, helping prep and make each tamal with so much dedication. This year, I graduated Nursing School with my BSN in May, and now I’m blessed to say we have our own LLC—proof that even in hard times, family, love, and tradition can build something bigger than we ever imagined.

I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all my amazing customers for keeping me extra busy these past couple of weekends since I restarted making and selling my tamales 🫶🏽

The road to recovery from my bilateral hand surgery has been long, but I’m slowly getting back into doing what I love. Your support, patience, and continued orders truly mean everything to me.

I’ve even had a couple of special Halal orders placed, which makes me so grateful to be able to serve such a diverse and supportive community 🤍

¡Yami’s Tamales estará de regreso la próxima semana!

Tuve que tomarme un tiempo para recuperarme después de una cirugía inesperada pero muy necesaria en mis manos, por eso estuvimos ausentes un tiempo. Gracias de corazón a todos los que preguntaron por nosotros, nos apoyaron y esperaron pacientemente. ❤️

¡Pero no se preocupen, no nos fuimos para siempre! Solo queríamos darles tiempo para que extrañaran y se les antojaran nuestros deliciosos tamales. 😋

Regresamos oficialmente el Lunes 23 de marzo de 2026.
