It's Halloween and you know what that means! You now have a pumpkin or several on your patio you don't want anymore. My goats and chickens are happy to take it off your hands. Any unbleached/unpainted pumpkins can be dropped off here, 8 Smith Sanborn Rd in Chichester, the red house at the corner of Smith Sanborn and Dover. Feel free to leave it by the corner of the barn, or throw it into the yard with the goats if you want to see them chowing down. We appreciate it so much!

tl;dr: If you have a computer that runs all the time, please consider streaming our farm in the background. It doesn't need to be the active window, and it can be muted. You don't even have to have an account or be logged in, it just has to be showing the live video stream. Every little bit helps.

The long version: So we've been trying to get afilliate (monitization) on Twitch, which would help us a lot in offsetting hay/grain costs etc. Because we run a constant stream it's hard for us to maintain the 6 concurrent user level to get afilliated. It takes all the hours we stream (last month was 709 hours) and averages out the views. So even if we have 25 views for a couple hours (like we did for shearing days) it equates to very little for the average. Once we get affiliated it is easier to entice people into coming to our stream, but streams without a lot of followers/viewers are usually lost in the algorithm.

It's hay! It's hay! The loft is filled with hay. (To the tune of "The L***y Month of May" from the Camelot musical) 452 bales loaded into the loft will get us MOST of the way through the year. It'll take us fully through the year once we get the round bales for outside meals, hopefully soon.
