Melon Patch Farm is a Georgia Grown certified farm by The State of Georgia Department of Agriculture Located in beautiful Chickamauga, Ga we are a short drive from Chattanooga and jut 10 Miles of 1-75 from the Ringgold exit. We feature local produce in season , and are well known for our Strawberries, Watermelon, Peaches and Sweet Corn . We invite you to visit us and our charming town.

In 2004, Karen had a dream of opening her own restaurant. She never could’ve imagined the blessings that dream would bring—or how deeply it would become part of our family’s story.

Even after selling the Southern Diner in 2018 and stepping further into agriculture, The Melon Patch has always remained close to our hearts. As we prepare to open our new store, it felt only right to bring a special part of where it all began back.

We are excited to welcome you into our new café, featuring fresh foods inspired by what we love most—fruits, vegetables, and the best the state of Georgia has to offer. This new store truly brings together the heart of both Karen & Trey.

We will be celebrating our new opening for both the cafe & store after next Wednesday once the Health Department releases us to open. We will post the opening date Wednesday.

The Melon Patch has always been part of our family, and we hope it will always feel like a part of yours too. ❤️

This journey would have never taken us this far if it wasn’t for the love you have all shown us. Through every up and down you’ve always showed up and supported us.
