Mustard pickles with brine for marinade. Slice your cucumbers and add to clean jars. Heat 1 cup water, 1 cup vinegar, salt, mustard of your choosing, and spices you desire until dissolved. Pour brine over cucumbers, debubble, and top off if needed. Wipe the rims, add your lids and rings. Store in the refrigerator as these are not shelf stable. Save your extra brine for salads, dressings, dip, and even marinades. You can even keep adding cucumbers or other vegetables to the brine for more deliciousness.
